My family has all left for the weekend so I'm on my own.  Don't really have L and D figured out yet.  Will be protein...I know that!  :-)

E - Ran this morning and then walked while my son rode his bike for a little bit.

I can finally answer this! yay! But I'm only 2 days out - Protein shakes are on the menu and I'm slowly but surely getting them down. And Powerade Zero. 

Water - only 17 oz so far

Vitamins - calcium so far

Exercise - 53 mins of walking outside; another 10 mins to the apt office and back

 

Can't wait to have real food again!

I did yoga at home with the Studio Yoga app and it was great.  I've used the app a few times now and I definitely recommend it.  It's very well done and easy to follow.  (Not that the yoga is easy, but it's not supposed to be!)  I think that I'll be finished with the greek chicken salad this week, so I need to figure out what to make for my lunches for next week.  I've been toying with either shrimp coconut curry or some tuna sweet potato patties.

Gosh Gwen, your meals sound awesome. I took a scan of you food recipe blog the other day. Thanks for sharing that!

I took a look at the Philly cheese steak stuffed bell peppers and that I can do now. I was thinking about using chicken too.

Thanks!  I really love to cook so I've looked at this whole post-op lifestyle as one big experiment :D  Thankfully my family is willing to go along for the ride.  

The bell peppers were amazing.  I had really teeny bell peppers from the farmers market, so I ended up making more of a casserole than stuffed bell peppers.. I layered the peppers halves in the bottom of a baking dish, cooked them plain for 20 minutes to soften them, then topped them with everything else to finish instead of stuffing them.  It was really tasty.  My guys got rice with theirs and everyone was happy.

I've been going through a lot lately with work and personal so I could use some extra hopes and prayers sent my way please. :-)  I feel like I'm jumping out of my skin and can't sleep or eat.... boy have things changed ... before I'd do nothing but eat now I have to force myself to remember !!!
