Band to sleeve revision

For those that have reivsed from band to sleeve, please describe your experience. Is the pain worse in the tummy or from where the port is removed?  Was there anything special your surgeon did to ensure you did not have infection from the port site?

How long did you research the sleeve before you made the final decision that the sleeve was the best option for you?

No pain at all with band removal - not sure if surgeon did anything to prevent infection.  Researched probably at least one year before making decision - which I also did before the band
