Someone Pinch Me, I'm Dreaming!
Over 50 LBS GONE! 57 to be exact. I feel like I am dreaming! I'm not even 2 weeks out and already down 17lbs since surgery. Things are getting easier, pain is easing up, walking is easier, getting in liquids and protein... no sweat! Just being able to walk like I am is the biggest NSV ever. The first couple days felt like Hell, but now I can barely tell I had surgery. I am thankful and grateful to God for his healing blessings. I am already off my BP meds, and MetFormin, and the Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver is healed. God is so good, and I thank Him daily for providing me a way to have this surgery and for putting Dr, Heider and The Center for Surgical Weight Loss at Lake Norman in my path.

The only negative side effect I am seeing is the Hair loss is beginning already. I wasn't expecting this for awhile, but it appears to be starting now. Oh well gotta roll with the punches too.

Biotin does nothing for the hair loss. Look up telogen effluvium to understand the mechanism behind the hair shedding. If it's going to happen to you, it's going to happen. Nothing can prevent it or lessen its effects.
Biotin might help to strengthen your nails or new hair growth, but for me, it caused very nasty hair growth on my face and other parts of my body. It might not bother you as a male, but it's not what a woman needs to deal with.
