Trying to get set up with vitamins for after my surgery. I got the Bariatric Advantage Chewable multivitamins. I am wondering about getting chewable vitamin C? Do any of you have a favorite?  Are there any more types of vitamins I need? I am 57. Thanks! Two more weeks til surgery!!

The ASMBS recommends that we take a multi with 100% of most vitamins and minerals, 1500mg of Calcium CITRATE (I like the Bariatric Advantage peanut butter chocolate chews for that).  Iron, b12, and vitamin D based on labs.  I take all three of those.  Vitamin C helps with iron absorption, so it's good to take those together, at least 2 hours after your last dose of calcium citrate.  I just use generic vitamin C chewables that my parents bought accidentally at BJs :P
