Super Bowl Suggestions

I'm invited to a SB party tomorrow evening & need to bring something. There will be chili as well as chips, salsa & queso.

Im 2.5 months out and haven't yet tackled (pardon the pun) raw vegetables. So, no crudité.

What to bring?  I looked at Eggface's suggestions - I love the idea of the roasted cauliflower but don't want to have to use the oven once I get there (and again with the veg).  My only thought was a platter of baked/broiled chicken wings?  Any other ideas?

Deviled eggs? Hummus with whole-grain crackers?

As a southern woman, my go-to is deviled eggs. To the point where I own multiple deviled egg plates - some for transporting, fancy ones for show... :). Those are always in my back pocket!

Not sure if plugging a crock in is doable, if so sweet/sour meatballs.. shrimp platter, buffalo dip (or other chicken/crab dip) with sliced cheese for the crackers, deviled eggs, cold cut and cheese roll-ups, mini stuffed peppers ( sliced in half length-wise)

The crock idea is a very good one.  I need to find the best meatball recipe for that. Good idea!

I buy frozen bay scallops and saute them up using Pam with pepper and parsley. They are a great source of protein. I assume you are looking for something to take that you could eat. They are better warm though so that might be a problem if you don't want to use their kitchen.

Bonnie, those sound great!  And in the Chesapeake area, we have ready access to bay scallops!
