OMG I got hit with my first bought of foamies and throwing up. After 2 months didn't think I was going to have to deal with this since I have not had any issues.

Not sure what caused it. Ate the same thing I did the other day and no issues. It was the worst thing I've encountered so far.

was it leftovers? maybe the food was drier the 2nd day and didn't settle as easy?

Yes it was. Probably part of it

I can rarely eat things that were warmed in the microwave.  Foamies are from eating to fast or too much or both.

Think it was too fast. Eating in between conference calls. Didn't have alot of time. Won't do that again

Could be you just didn't chew quite well enough. At your stage, it takes just a tiny, tiny nugget of food to get stuck and trigger the foamies.

The foamies suck! I've had it a couple times and that's more than enough for a lifetime.

For me, its always from eating too fast. Mushy foods or softer foods go down so easily and require more determination to eat slowly.

I'm sorry you are struggling :(  Excuse my ignorance, because I am still in the preop stage, but what are the foamies?

It's a terrible feeling in your throat/esophagus area, hard to explain, but the first time it happened to me, I instantly knew what it was. It's like there are tiny moving bubbles, and you want to burp, but it hurts and you feel like you're going to throw up. No fun at all!

I don't get foam in my mouth, but my salivary glands start working overtime.  I have only had it 2 times; once the day after surgery while taking my pills, and once last week when I ate too much too fast.
