Clarification on the 5 day meat test?

So I have a remarkable ability to complicate things, so leave it to me to make something as simple as this concept and make it more complicated!!  Just returning from vacation, have gained only 1-2 pounds but have definitely allowed more carbs while away.  Anxious to nip the carbs and cravings in the bud so thinking to use the 5 day meat test to do this.  My questions...

  1.  Is it 100% meat?  Or can I eat proteins such as eggs and cheese?
  2. Should I be weighing and measuring the meat or just 3 meals per day of meat until full?  Snacks ok if they are meat?

Would appreciate any guidance or other tips.  Julie...I know you're out there dying to answer my silly questions!!  :)

You can eat eggs, but cheese will stop the weight loss because it has carbs.

You can eat as much meat as you want as many times a day as you want.

If you cheat and eat the smallest amount of carbs, the diet will not work and you will have wasted your time.

I'm not a fan of meat tests or pouch tests.

Getting back onto the way you/we should be eating.

3oz of protein and some veggies.

To lose weight keep the meals to 200cals, to maintain a weight 300cal meals as a guideline.

Extremes are a type of yo-yo dieting.

The bottom line is.... whatever works is a good thing.

Keep it simple and tasty, satisfying and on point  !!!

It's not really a test!  I'm chuckling at how Sparkle Kitty's rather tongue in cheek meat test has become a 'thing'. The point is to make meals all about a small portion of dense protein with a very small side of veggie to eat after if you have not reached satiety. This is what being on plan means!  Every day! Keep meals and snacks 'protein forward' and that's pretty much it.

I had NO idea that this would become such a big deal-- but honestly, I'm glad that it has :)
