Last weekend as "old normal"
I am going to enjoy this weekend as I am facing this monumental change next week. Surgery on Tuesday 9/27 and I am SOOOOOOOO ready to have my "new normal". Out with the old and in with the NEW ME!!!! :) Can't wait!!!! Super excited!!!!

Thank you! I have a million emotions running through my body at once. I know I will be ok and I will be saying the same thing as you are once I wake up in recovery and then go home and see my babies! It will all be worth it and a distant memory as i'm on my journey!

Very exciting and wonderful journey for you and once you're on your way, you are on your way......sometimes anesthesia does funky things until you are fully out of it and awake, so don't let that play tricks on your head. You may (or may not) have some discomfort....that's the leftover gas in your system, so your mantra is walk and sip, walk and sip, walk and sip.....I walked as much as possible....even at 3 AM if I was awake and by day 2 I was pretty clear....by day 3 I was feeling good and by day 4 I was almost ready to attempt conquering the world....or at least a small corner of it.
you'll do fine......just be sure to let us know as soon as you're home so we can officially dub you a Loser and welcome you to the Bench
