I listed the weight loss per month in my signature below.

I had a lot of weight to lose (225 pounds), and my best month was about 20 pounds. But the weight loss diminished over the months until it was just a few pounds per month at the end.  I think its important to remember that everyone's process will be different, but if you stick to your plan, you will get to goal  eventually.

Early on someone told me that its a marathon not a sprint. Does it really matter if you get to goal in 6 months, or a year or 18 months?  Its a life-long commitment to managing our obesity, and every month you will be getting healthier and looking better.

so try not to obsess with the number on the scale.  As long as you are moving in the right direction, you will get to goal eventually.

best wishes,

Carol

1 Month: 234.4 (down 18 lbs)

2 Month: 226.4 (down 8 lbs)

I have yet to find a single person who has lost as slowly as I'm losing, but I'm totally okay with it. I've never gone up, and I feel great.
