Psych Testing

My appointment is tomorrow and I was told that I'd be there around 2 1/2 hours. I asked why and she said to due exam I have to take.

Exam...Why should I have to take exam?  She had no replay. I asked multiple choice, fill in the blank???  She answered, Multiple choices and could be less or more time in the office depending on how you process your exam.

I have to miss few hours of work for this testing procedure. Any one else have to do this?

I'm thinking it's a MMPI test...yes-no??

I would assume it's an MMPI.  I've taken one before but did not have to do one as part of my psych eval.

I thought it was a strange requirement as part of the Eval.

I understand the Psych visit but the testing/exam I didn't understand

It's not like an exam you have to get an A or B to pass ...   it's a multiple choice paper to determine your suitability for the surgery - it's not unusual at all - I'll bet most of us took it!

Don't overthink it - the vast majority of us probably did it and I'm always surprised by some of the people who must have passed it!  Nothing to worry about!

Its really easy. It just asks how you'd react to certain things. And it repeats questions worded in different ways. No big deal, youwill do fine. Your not graded. Best of luck on your journey.
