What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?

Ah, yesterday was the absolute laziest day I have had in ages. It was lovely. I watched a ton of tv (Stranger Things on Netflix is amazing, y'all!!!) and did a few hours of work from the recliner. Then we went to see a movie at the theater--The Accountant with Ben Afffleck. It was okay. For a movie with a TON of shooting scenes it was kind of boring and unnecessarily complicated. I definitely fell asleep for about 20 minutes... Meh--it wasn't terrible, though.

Today should be a little busier, but not much. I am on the board of my condo association, but lately, I stay at Grim's so often that I barely live there anymore. I really need to spend a day back in my neighborhood and do some of the board responsibilities that I've been ignoring.

I don't think I have any food back at my house...so, again, the menu is unkmown as of 8am. But here is what I had yesterday:

B: Fit Frappe Protein Coffee

L: Ribeye

S: Protein Ice Cream (home made by Grim!)

D: 2 chicken tenders and popcorn at the movie

So, as I mentioned, Grim bought an ice cream machine! It's a really nice Cuisinart one with the build in compressor, so it freezes quickly. It basically just freezes your protein shake into  ice cream consistency. Definitely better than just having them over ice! I'm excited to keep playing and trying out all of EggFace's yummy recipes, now :)

QOTD: Inspired by his cool new gadget...do you have a favorite kitchen appliance that makes you happy? When I had my band, I used my crockpot all the time, because it was the only way I could make meat tender enough to go down. I've not really used it since revision because it makes too much food, but I had some great recipes that I miss. Now my favorite appliance/gadget is probably my Zoodle maker!

No college football? That's crazy!!

Yesterday I did a lot of running around in between football games. Today will be busy grading papers (and watching more football). Good times!!

QOTD: My coffee maker makes me happy. I could live on coffee all day long.

My eats are good, all vitamins will be taken, and I will get 17,000 steps. Oh, and I need to pick up my younger daughter from camp. She got to go to a camp for kids with clefts given by her cleft team. I miss her little motor mouth. Our house has been way too quiet.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Yeah, I never really followed college football. I had a cousin who played at West Point, so I've enjoyed going to those games over the years, but I never could get into watching it on tv. I hope whoever you are rooting for is killing it!

All of you forget the coffee maker because it's not an appliance. You consider it your friend.

Now I feel guilty that I didn't mention my Keurig. Hands down the greatest invention! But I do really enjoy my Zoodle maker. It took some practice to get the noodles the same shape and length, but however they come out, they are really tasty and a great pasta replacement.

Lazy Saturdays, yay!

QOTD. I don't really have a kitchen gadget. I don't do coffee. I've had a Kitchenaid mixer for years that is a great tool. I love having a grill on the patio. The one thing I couldn't do without in the kitchen is a good stainless frying pan.

I know. Boring.

I am glad you posted that your grill was your good gadget. I love mine. It is a Weber. I have gone through so many grills in my life. I have to say the Weber has lasted the longest.

Today I am making eggs and pork roll for breakfast. Lunch will be the inside of fish tacos. Dinner steak on the grill. Easy clean up using the grill.

Didn't walk this morning. I am dealing with RH I think. I felt horrible yesterday when I was walking. I almost had to call my husband. I stopped at the local WAWA and bought a snack then I felt better.

I am looking into it. Was not a good feeling at all. I was confused sweaty and felt dizzy.

Anyway today is going to be a good day. The sun is shining and we are going to meet friends at a place on the water.

Enjoy the day. Lazy days are great. I just get scared that old habits are creeping in when I have more than one.
