Happy Hump Day

I was just sleeved April 1st, ya ya April fool’s day, and am very glad I had the sleeve. The journey has taken years to come to this point, insurance, spousal & family support, and do I really want to not eat that 18oz rib eye again. Not feeling hungry has been pretty awesome experience, except for the OOP's its 7 pm and other then water I haven't eaten since breakfast mistake. I have great energy and feel that extra something in my step when I walk.

I'm looking for everyone's great snacking ideas, not these pre-surgery unhealthy junk, but you fantastic people that are getting your life back together and loosing the weight ideas.

Hope y'all have a great day.

Baby carrots. The colder the better, uncooked obviously.

I never leave the house without some type of protein with me. Some examples are a protein bar, beef jerky, nuts, can of tuna that can easily be open. And I always have single serving crystal light packages to add to my water.

I have a few go to.... Jerky is one of them.  Especially the Krave jerkies, Perky Jerky, and Whole Foods In house.

One new item is the Nicks Sticks Grass Fed Beef Snacks.  10g protein, 120 calories, and tastes like a slim jim.

Veggie option is hummus and yogurt for sure.

Great question!

Greek yogurt with some berries.  Although I just started cottage cheese w/ splenda and berries.  Cottage cheese is my new go to snack for right before bed.  It is full of Casein protein which is slow release, so that my muscles are being fed on by my body overnight ;)
