I survived Easter gathering temptation!
Saturday was a victory! I attended a family gathering. There were 3 tables of food....hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, beans, deviled eggs, etc. and 1 table filled with deserts.
I was not even tempted. I am 6 months and 80+ pounds post VSG. I really feel I have turned the corner.
I chose a few fresh strawberries, a spoon of humus dip (topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, and black olives), and a healthy oatmeal cookie made with oatmeal, stevia, raisins, dates, and a little butter. I ate my maximum 6 bites and was finished.
It was a victory.
