Well I did it.  finally exceeded the goal number.  life is much better but truly learning what maintenance will look like.   took up Pilates and love it.  huge impact on my body.  I do notice dry mouth ESP at night, pale skin and managing a thyroid issue which isn't fun.... happier than I have been in a very long time but now a new phase of my journey begins.

Congratulations J great job!!!!  I hit goal about 2 months ago ... it's a whole new journey !! It's scary at first but with each day it gets easier ... I think one of the things that makes me nuts ..is now getting on the scale and not wanting it to go down... I'm so used to watching it say I lost to now seeing it at a permanent stall!!! Lol ... plays with my mind a bit... and I've still lost .. 2 months ago I stopped at 145 today I'm 137... so be prepared to loose a bit more !!! Best of luck to you !!! :-)

Congratulations! Great work. You're right, a new chapter now begins. This new chapter was not as well written for me, so my advice is to continually revise and edit until you get it right. We're all so different when it comes to what will work and what won't in maintenance. The people I think are most successful are those who just add more of the same types of calories.

I added refined carbs back in to stop the weight loss. Not a strategy I'd recommend.
