Hello everyone,

So I have been here lurking around and reading Well today is 68 days poet-op and I am down 73 pounds since the start of the pre-op diet. I can't tell other than my clothes fit very loose like my belt is like 8" longer when tightened now. One weird thing is my but hurts when I sit on it. I guess that is were I have lost the most from??? I have been hitting they gym almost every day but this week I have back off due to the fact that I was doing more work around the house because I have been cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood. I plan on starting back on Monday, I have found that I most find something to busy my self or I find my self grazing, so I started studying for my HAM license and will be testing Monday as well, there is 3 class or type of licenses and I plan on getting all 3 of them, I hope to have the first 2 by mid January them

I will start building the radios and the other equipment need to talk to people around the WORLD!!  and to the international space station !!

I will post before and after pictures of my self when I hit 100 pounds of lose. I took a video of my self the other day and cant tell the difference yet in my eyes so I guess a good mark will be the 100 pound mark. So if you don't hear from me be assured that I am here and lurking around. I also do a lot of posting on the FB page of Mexico Bariatric's which is were my doctor and NUT read every day and answer questions and do a lot of posting.

So good to hear you are doing very well. You were my first inspiration on this page and in the beginning when I did not see you post I was afraid something had happened.

Glad to see you back.  It's great that you're keeping active and finding a new hobby!  My hobbies have really helped me out through this time and it's amazing what having more energy will let me do!  I used to want to sit on the couch all day and now I want to do ALL THE THINGS.  :)

Good to hear from you!

I've got a HAM license too but I only got it so I could use an APRS transmitter (know those guys who send cameras into space attached to weather balloons? .... I did that and I used a HAM radio transmitter to track it).

The test is easy. I studied for two weeks and passed on the first time.
