I need help finding a good no-flavor protein powder I can add to crystal light.  I bought the GNC whey protein powder and it made it milky/creamy...YUCK!  Any suggestions?  Does anyone add protein powder to applesauce???

I love Genepro. I buy it on Amazon. it as flavorless as they come, and I like that you can mix it directly in hot or cold liquid. Also 1 tbsp = 30g protein. that small amount compared to the volume of others makes it very easy to mix into foods like cottage cheese, yogurt. Don't drink crystal light, but I've put it in coffee, tea and SF hot chocolate. Syntrax nectars has a lot of flavors like ice tea and lemonade you might like, more like Crystal light.

No protein powder is truly flavor free, they'll all taste like whey.  A lot of people like the Isopure unflavored powder, so that might be worth trying out.

(I'm not sure the science on the Genpro mentioned above is actually there.)

I agree with the Genepro comment so much. It seems physically impossible to get 30 grams of protein out of one tablespoon of powder. Typically a tablespoon of most powders will weigh between 5 and 15 grams. For example, a tablespoonful of the fiber supplement powder I use is about 12 grams. A tablespoonful of cocoa powder weighs 5 grams. A tablespoon of PB2 is 6 grams. But somehow this magic protein powder is 30 grams (minimum, assuming it contains protein and nothing else) per TBS? So I don't see how you can possibly get 30 grams of anything - let alone protein - out of a tablespoonful of it. I would certainly weigh Genepro and make sure I'm getting at least 30 grams of it if I were planning on consuming 30 grams of protein. But overall I have to say I wouldn't touch it. It all seems very shady to me.

I am a huge  fan of Genepro.  I purchased it before my VSG because I read a comment on this forum.  I had it with me post op in the hospital  and was able to add it to my broth.  I have not had a day post op that I didn't meet my protein goals because of this product.  I credit it for my very quick recovery.  It really is a great product. I use it because it is so concentrated and gives me great flexibility.  I use 1/2 serving and add protein to my vegetables and foods I would like to have but don't have the protein.  It has been a life saver.  I keep packets in my purse so I can add it to anything I eat or drink.   You can be skeptical but I have had great success with it and would highly recommend it.

Believe it or not, this product has virtually no flavor. I have used it almost daily for 4 1/2 months.  My labs have been excellent and have no reason to believe that it isn't a good protein. It certainly works for me.

Might I suggest syntrax nectars? They are more of a juice consistency and have fruit flavors as opposed to thick,  chalky proteins. I really like the lemonade,  fuzzy navel,  strawberry kiwi.

any whey protein is going to make it at least a bit milky creamy because whey is a. Milk. Product.

I've been using The Vitamin Shoppes unflavored whey protein isolate in my crystal light.  Extremely faint taste.  Crystal lights Strawberry/Orange/Banana is real yummy if you put in a couple of ice cubes and shake it up.
