I got my approval and my DATE!!!
I just had to shout it out! I am so excited and relieved after all these months of planning! I have finally been approved and given a surgery date of Dec. 7th!! Woohoo! Here I go...I'm so ready for this new life! :) Thank you everyone for all the wisdom and encouragement that is shared through this site!

YAY!!!! Congrats!!! The waiting for approval is the worst, but soooo exciting once you get a date. I have my surgery scheduled for 11/23, so I'm on all liquids now, the only silver lining is knowing how close it's getting. Congrats again and good luck!

How exciting for you! 3 months is pretty fast, so you are fortunate! I know, it doesn't feel fast... but compared to our friends here who have to do 6 months and a billion hoops it is fast!

I actually did have to do 6 months...not sure where you got the 3 from?? I began the process back in April and then had a delay for a job change...but now am finally able to move forward! Woohoo!
