Headache that won't go away

In addition to that, I have been getting a gut-rot icky feeling and an achy lower back.  The headaches have been coming on for at least 2 weeks.  Not sure if these symptoms are related at all.

Here is my daily menu (doesn't change much day to day):

B: greek yogurt

S: light string cheese

L: tuna & hummus

S: light string cheese & Atkins Lift drink

D: tuna & hummus

Water: 100+ oz per day

The symptoms don't arrive specifically after eating or drinking a particular thing so I'm not convinced it's a food intolerance.  I see my pcp in a month and go for my 6 month followup with bloodwork in October.

I was just wondering if others have experienced this and what it was for them.

Is there any way you can see your PCP sooner than that?  I'd be concerned and not want to wait.

I'd call my doc, but have you also gone without coffee? Headaches can also be attributed to caffiene withdrawl.

The only things I notice is that you are eating a lot of tuna which can be high in sodium and if you already have high blood pressure it could be the cause of the headache, or perhaps the sodium is causing higher BP which is causing the headaches.

Another possibility is your body adjusting to ketones. I eat a highly ketogenic diet which is higher in fat and only moderate protein which keeps you in ketosis longer and stronger. The first 2 weeks of this diet was 2 weeks of headache. Ketones are brain food. Your brain loves them, but switching from glucose fuel to ketone fuel is a bit of a transition. It took me about 2 weeks. Some people are faster, some are slower.

Could it be aspertame or another artificial sweetener?
