OMG.  My current weight goal is 169, which is 150 pounds lost and 75% excess weight lost.  I've been at 170 the last 4 days, so I knew it was coming, but today I stepped on the scale and saw 168.1.  WOO!  Totally unexpected, but I will take it!  Especially since the awesome number will bolster me through making good choices during the next five days of suck.  Do you find that a milestone on the scale makes you more or less likely to be vigilant?

1: protein shake
2: leftover egg roll in a bowl (assuming it hasn't all been eaten)
3: brisket, bbq sauce, coleslaw, bread, peanut butter chocolate pie, vanilla ice cream (I won't be eating all of these things, but company is coming.  Everything homemade except for the bread.  Yum!)

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: after a 20 hour day yesterday, I opted to sleep in

How about you on this blustery Friday?

That's amazing!!! Hard work pays off. I should take my own advice.

B shake mixed in coffee

S cheese stick

L zoodles w/ veggies and veggie chicken burger

D - setting up for my boyfriend's sister's baby shower and they're ordering pizza. soooooo, Ill bring a shake and just drool over the smell.

S maybe 1/2 a bar?

Exercise, well, I still have to work 10 hours today and then set up for the babyshower sooo, that counts as steps?

W & vits, on track

Morning:  protein drink and and yet-to-appear latte.  If I don't get my coffee soon, bad things are going to happen.

Lunch:  Salad with either chicken, turkey or falafel.  Can't decide.

Evening:  pork tenderloin and ice cream.

Exercise and vites - done

Falafel makes me sad.  I love it, but my stomach no longer does. One of the few things I can't eat post-op :(

Good work Gwen.  You are an inspiration!

My weight dropped a couple pounds today, too, getting me back in my "acceptable" range.  I still need to bring it down a bit more.

Breakfast - salmon

lunch - going out for lunch - will have seafood platter, probably fried, but its my birthday, so I am having a treat

snack - chicken and broccoli casserole

dinner - maybe chicken fried rice with cauliflower rice

Have a great Friday everyone.

Thanks! It's very strange - my weight NEVER goes down 2 pounds in a day.  I was 170 for so many days and figured I'd see 169 this morning.  Weird. :P

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  Enjoy it and celebrate :D  I'll be eating off schedule this week too, just because Art's parents are in town and I refuse to cook for them :P

Thanks you, Gwen.  I had a lovely birthday with family and friends.  I feel so blessed.  I've been feeling a bit down, so I am so appreciative of all the well wishes.

My weight can go up or down by multiple pounds in a day.  If I eat carbs, I retain water big time.  I suspect it will be up again tomorrow due to the carbs at lunch, but I'll be back on track soon.

best wishes,

Carol
