I'm going here tonight, yay!  It's a small plate place, so it's perfect for us.  I've been to another of the chef's restaurants with the same small plate concept post-VSG and it worked out well.  We ordered about 9 dishes between the three of us and I got to have 1-2 bites of most everything.  :D  It's a fun way to get a lot of variety.

So what would you order?  What calls to you?

I would have a problem. I like everything except the dishes with bread. Or breaded.

Everything else looks great.  I would probably try something that I could not get anywhere else... So I would skipped some dishes (like scalops - even though I love scalops) or fish.. And get their aged meats..

The crab dishes - if you decide - verify if it is crab or imitation crab... Often they use imitation. When I want crabs - I get the legs and dig the crab meat myself. Then I know I am eating crab legs.

I love restaurants with small plates!  It is so much easier than trying to find a protein based appetizer or having leftovers for a week (maybe for just a day from a small plate meal).

Anything baby squid.  A favorite food that's drastically underrated by most Americans, it's good to see it more in restaurants.  It's utterly delicious!

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

The shrimp sautéed with garlic, The seared scallops, the selections of all cured meats!!! (though sausage doesn't sit well with me... too greasy, too heavy), the apple fennel salad sounds yummy too (though I can't get much salad in)  Have fun! Taste lots!  I love having variety and that is something that sucks about eating so little... You kinda get shafted in the 'sides' department as you can't fit it in, why make or order them!

Apparently I'm in the mood for pork as what I really want is the pork tenderloin with blue cheese sauce and the pork sausage with grilled white beans.

The garlic shrimp and the fried egg with salmon roe also sound really good . . . as do many other things . . . but those are the standouts for me.
