I rarely have heartburn...RARELY, and it is never bad enough that acid comes to my mouth, but last night this happened.  It was horrible.  I got up and took a pepcid, and it stopped it quickly.  My question is, should this worry me about getting sleeve

I went to see my surgeon, and he gave me some "worst case scenario" information. I will share the ABSOLUTE WORST. He said that it is possible that he may not be able to do the sleeve if the band damaged my stomach too m

I am having this surgery because I am TERRIFIED of surgery. I know this sounds like a crazy comment, but it is so true. I am afraid if I don't do this, I will have to have many, far more dangerous surgeries in the future..... OPEN HEART, JOINT REPLAC

I am wanting to drink shakeology post op, but it doesn't seem to have enough protein per serving. What are the best powders to use, that are tasteless, that will add protein?

I will be having sleeve surgery in Dec.  I am very worried about depression secondary to not being able to eat copious amounts of food.  Did any of your experience "food mourning", and if so, how did you handle it?

Who has had a leak post op? What happened?  How did it get resolved?

I am having revision to sleeve in Dec.  I had Band removed two years ago because of complications, and suffered physically and emotionally while the band was in place.  Please tell me any NEGATIVE things to having sleeve.  I want to be prepared.

I am so thankful for this board bc it really feels like I am going this alone.  I know the main reason is bc my family and friends saw how I struggled with the Lap Band.  They are correct....it was horrible, but I tell them that I feel this will be dif
