I was sleeved September 2, 2016 and then on January 30th I had total hip replacement. I'm almost 7 days postop. I just wonder if anyone  has gone through this. I have none of the  symptoms  that they mention and it says you should call

BAAA! I'm 3 months post op and shedding like a dog. So glad you people told me all about this, it is quite alarming. I have a second surgery at the end of January so I hope that does not prolong this.

I am currently using the premier shakes . I'm fine with them but where I live Costco only sells chocolate ( I'm in Canada too so can't get lots of flavours) I like the ready made for simplicity and a few other reasons I won

9 weeks out!

5 weeks  on soft food.

Everything is going well except fish- which surprises me and ground beef !

Can eat turkey and chicken well, which is great.

Hello, I am 2 weeks sleeved and have severe to moderate arthritis.

I also need a new hip which will happen in March.

Where do I start with exercise.

Walking is great but the hip does not really allow for that much.

I'm sleeping fairly well but I'd kill to turn on my side. Use pillows to prop myself and pretend.

Bodily functions are now up and running!

Having no difficulty with liquids but get very full

Surgery was yesterday and I'm going home tomorrow. I'm doing well . Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences it all helped ! 👍

just found out that Dr Jackson at TWH is to be my Surgeon for VSG on September 2. Has anyone else had him and what did you think?

Just a quick question, I understand that walking reduces gas pains after surgery, but what if you can't walk , for example I need a new hip and will walk as much as I can but it is  very painful to stay on my feet. Any other methods.
