Well, it happened ON the scale...

I was able to put my feet and legs together while standing on the scale this morning.

Woohoo!

I'm down 55.7 pounds since the start of my journey on January 11, 2017.

I have 56.2 pounds left to reach goal.

I'm just about half way!

Very exciting!!!

Its been 1 week since my surgery. I feel great, minimal pain, and getting around the house well. Other than lifting, I do regular housework.

It has been tough getting in all my protein and fluids, but it gets better every day.

Wow. Today has been better than expected. So far, I've had 14+ ounces of fluids, including protein shake and popsicle. The pain is minimal, the gas is irritating, and I have walked outside 4 times.

So far, so good.

Feeling much better. Still some nausea, but not as bad. I should be going home later today.

I just got a letter from my insurance company approving surgery!

May 1, here I come!

Tomorrow starts my 2 week pre-op eating plan. Thankfully, my surgeon doesn't do 2 weeks of liquids. 2 shakes a day and 2 small meals with 2 snacks. Things are moving so fast!
