I recently found out I'm anemic. Hemoglobin 8.2, MCV 71, MCH 19.8. I also found out I need to have surgery for something unrelated to my bariatric surgery. My primary care doctor has me taking iron, but I'm wondering if I should ask for transfusions

I just finished watching Blue Bloods while on my elliptical.  Looking for something new to watch while I'm exercising, makes the time go by fast and makes it a treat for me to exercise as well. 

Any recommendations?

I met my first goal today, next goal is 280.  And I think next goal after that is 268 (which is half of the weight I want to loose).

I'm 4 weeks post op, and suddenly the chewable vitamins taste horrible and I can hardly get them down.  Thoughts?  Advice?  I remember someone posting about a vitamin patch maybe I should try that.  or try some other chewables?

Its a co workers birthday.  There were a plate of 10 fancy amazing cupcakes outside my office this morning on a file cabinet.  I left for lunch and went on a walk hoping they'd all be gone when I got back.

I went back to work half time today - I was so grumpy.  And I got irritated with my husband when he came home for lunch!  What is wrong with me?

on the surgery side of things - I'm one week post op.  I weighed today, I'm down 7 pounds

I'm doing well with fluids(70 plus)an ok with protein(40 plus)

ive been running a low grade fever from 99-100.9.  I talked to my dr office they said this can be normal but to keep a close eye on incisions for any sight of infection, a

my surgery went well, I got to come home on Tuesday evening.  I'm now home resting sipping and walking!

I got my insurance approval last week, and my surgery is scheduled for April 25th.  I'v scheduled time off at work, and am excited it all seems to be moving along quickly now.

Excited I just finished the last appointment of my 6 month pre-op diet, and they will be starting the insurance paperwork & process, and scheduling my last pre-op appointment with the surgeon, last pre-op blood work etc.
