Hi Max, I'm sort of new but I was excited to find your profile. It seems like I haven't connected with anyone in my age bracket that has had the surgery. I'm 27, from Mass, 375, BMI 54. My surgery date is scheduled for Nov. 2nd, I've been waiting since April. I'd love to hear some of your experiences, besides tha posts. I've been told I'm so young to be having such a drastic surgery. But 27 years of tourture was enough for me. How has the surgery affected you as a younger person? Have you had plastic surgery, do you think you'll need to? I'd appreciate any insight you could give me. Thanks so much, you look fabulous, keep up the good work!!

Don't give up, Max. You'll be bending over and shaving those legs in no time! I'm exactly 3 weeks post op today, and I can bend over just fine! It really does get better and better every day.

You go girl!! Welcome to the other side!! Hope all has gone well. I'm 8 days post-op and loving it! You will too!!!! It truly gets better and better every day! Standing on that bathroom scale and watching the pounds come off is amazing! Good luck, and God bless.

Hey everyone! I called Max again today, and she'd doing great. She's been up walking around and she says she feels soooo much better than yesterday. Her morphine pump was making her groggy and tired, so they took her off of that. I guess she was lovin it a little too much! *LOL* She's hoping to come home Friday morning. Way to go Max!!!
