Surgery went just as the doctor planned. I have made it to the other side. Dr. Maguire is a Great man. I would recommend him to anyone! And a special Thanks to the nurses and nursing assistants that helped so much while I was in the hospital.

Rita, Congratulations on your surgery this Monday! I wish you well on your journey to weight loss! Please keep everyone posted on how you're recovering. My surgery is scheduled for 10/25/01 and I'm very anxious! The best thing is knowing that we will always have ongoing support from all of our other WLS buddies. May God be with you!

Dear Rita, I want to wish you a fast and speedy recovery too! Isn't it exciting? I am so scared to do this, but yet at the same time I can't wait to get it over with.It has taken so long to get to this point, it is hard to believe that it is really going to happen......But I am ready!! I have all my affairs in order and have put every thing in God's hands.If it is his will, I am ready to start my new life as a thin person...
