Hey, People... I am home.. surgery went really well... I had a small complication though.. I had a post nasal drip problem... caused me to throw everything up.. water, food.. everthing.. by Wednesday Dr Jones said I was looking a bit puny and she put a PICC line in and fed me some milky white stuff through my viens... the next morning I woke up feeling wonderful.. and kept food down.. . so they let me leave... my ride showed up around 8pm... and took me 3/4 of the way home.. my second ride showed up today around 2 and took me the rest of the way home... <P>Good news... I lost 5 lbs while in the hospital.. probably not the best way to loose it though :-) !!!! PEACE all....

hey all! I called Angela's hospital last night and they said she did fabulously. Her lap surgery only took 45 minutes!! Man!! Mine was like 4 hours!! She was in ICU but didn't really need to be. I'll call today and try to talk to her and then will update again. Unofficial angel here but please post good wishes to her page for her!! WAY TO GO, ANG, YOU LOSER YOU!!! YA KNOW I LOVE YA, GIRL!!

Angela, I am a huge meat eater. I had surgery on 8/15 and I had 15 LAST MEALS! I think I had filet mignon every night for dinner and burgers/pizza for lunch! Guess what, I am just about 4 mos out, down 70lbs and I eat burgers (no bun), I has slice of pizza 2x since surgery and I had filet mignon for the first time last week. ALl the foods I thought I was saying goodbye to, I am still having! Now, I know everyone is different, but, i just thought you would like to hear that it is not forever, its like 2 mos, I thought it would be like 6-9 mos. Good Luck! Oh, lastly, I love shrimp & scallops, I have been eating a TON of them since 2 mos out!
