I really loved your posts! Particularly all the detail. I've become an OH junky trying to soak up all the info I can. I was sleeved a little over 3 week ago. The surgeon I choose has 0 follow up care.  Not even a 1 week check up. Crazy huh?  He printed out about 20 papers that had dietary suggestions and that was it. No pre-op diet and I never met with a counselor or nutritionist.  He billed my insurance for a hernia repair and than I paid $3000 cash for the sleeve.   Luckily, I've not had any complications. I really wanted it done and thought I knew what I was getting myself into. In reality, I had no clue! The 1st week was really tough. Thank heavens for posts like yours. I'm glad to know the the beginning weeks are tough for a lot of us. I feel like I'm getting a handle on my protein intake but need to increase my water. Not sure why that is so hard.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and congratulations on all your success. I hope to join you in the maintenance phase in 9-10 months. I've lost 20lbs and my goal is to loose 60-70 more.
