not too far out from my VSG but dry meats don't agree with me neither does smoked bbq meat; even with sauce it's too dry & doesn't sit well.  Burgers-meat only also don't sit well with me & eating whole unpeeled apples cause me to have that something just isn't sitting right feeling.  Everybody is different with what they can & can't tolerate though the foods I mentioned above after trying twice just don't seem to digest well with me anymore so I avoid them & peel my apples.  ===Good luck.

I am almost 2 years out and the food that  bothers me most is watermelon. Also some fruits if I eat too many raw (like 2 handfuls off fresh fruit) makes me feel uncomfortable. But if I make a shake with berries and banana - I feel fine.

I cant tolerate broccoli, any type of pork, peeled apples (thought I was dying when I tried this), any milk other than soy milk.  I'm about 4 months out so I havent tried tons of food, this is what I have found so far.  Im a sleever and I LOVE it.

Tortillas, and me being Mexican, that was kind of sad at first. Now I don't care, don't miss them, they make me feel yucky.

Actually, most RNY folks can tolerate most foods, at least in small amounts.

Fried onion give me hiccups.  I think they bother my reflux which, unfortunately, was not cured with the operation.

4 months out but it seems like problems only came up after 90-100 days.  Things that don't work with Mr. Sleeve: Indian and Thai food (which I used to love-- I think this is hard to pace well and easy to quickly eat too much, spicy), potatoes (especially fried like french fries, hash browns), omelettes, (non-egg-salad eggs), dry meats like chicken.  Like everyone, carbonated soda pop is the worst.  Very acidic things foam-- like OJ.  On the other hand-- Sushi, especially sashimi is the best now!  Steak, burgers, etc. all good in small small portions and slowly.  Usually easier to eat cold food for me!

High acid foods like citrus, coffee, tomatoes, etc. bother me, and so do spicy foods--Italian, sausage, Mexican, etc.
