I got mine on Saturday and we're going to use it for the first time tonight.  I'm making a roast with carrots, celery, turnips and whatever else I can find in the fridge.  Can't wait.

I also bought a dehydrator and made the most amazing beef jerky.

This is the one that I got, and it worked great!

I also wanted one the wouldn't break the bank, but would make great jerky.  This one fit the bill on both counts.

I do love mine.  I made some bone broth in mine.  I used chicken bones ... Not only it was faster than 24 hrs... But I did not have to smell it while it was cooking...

Making rice was supper easy (for BF)..and fast...

I plan to make meat spaghetti sauce... I use ground meat and NSA good tomato sauce... Typically have to simmer for at least 1 hour or wait till next day... For it to be yummy... But I hope the IP would do that (combining the taste) in 30 min... Will see..

Guess what? I made the plunge the other day, only to find I'd ordered the 6 in 1! ACK had to cancel the order. Then there were no warehouse deals on the 7 in 1. But....got a bunch of gift card things (that are Amazon friendly) and am going to use to go toward a brand spanking new one. Ordering tonight. Will let you know what I think. I'm really getting it for the yogurt function and the pressure cooker functions. Everything else is just an added bonus. Have you sauteed or browned with it before slow cooking? Curious how well it works for that. I love the one pot cooking feature, unlike my slow cooker which has to have meats browned in a pan prior to being put in the cooker.

My yogurt came out perfect. I didn't do the boiling in the instapot, did it before and just put finished mixture in, pushed yogurt button and it came out perfect. Saute function really does get hot fast, I was amazed...not wimpy heat at all.

The sautee function works terrific. The only downside is the bottom of the pan is fairly limited in circumference, so some recipes have to be browned in batches. Glad you caught you had the 6-1. as the yogurt function is a very big deal! When you buy tonight, double check if they posted any used ones. They add them in every so often. They are showing used, but at $93. Worth it to just go new at that price.
