Going to Mexico even though I HAVE insurance. Am I crazy?

VSG on 03/12/14

I had insurance, but with that "50 or over BMI" thing for getting a VSG as a rule and then losing 50 lbs after being accepted into the program which..... Then takes another 1-2 years of classes/nutritional stuff.... In the end the insurance company just wanted to discourage people from completing the program so they don't have to pay for surgery... Smart huh? I scheduled a meeting with a trusted doctor in Mexicali (Dr. Garcia) and I went fasting (from Vegas xD).... We talked, he went through what happens before/after surgery... And I decided that it was a yes, so I did my blood tests that same morning and by that afternoon I was having surgery...... It's different for everyone, but if you know what you're getting yourself into and are ready, I don't see why it's not a good plan....

Best of luck!
