I had sleeve on july 11th, I have had zero problems, not with water or protein intake. I had no pain, and was sleeping on my stomach 3 days after surgery, incisions never hurt or were noticeable. I have not had any acid reflux at all, however, my surgeon told me I would take a prescription antacid daily for life. I am down 20lbs since surgery two weeks ago. Everyone has a different experience, it is great to hear what others have been through, but don't freak out, you may not experience the same thing, and if you do, you know it is normal. I am very lucky, I know, but I also don't stress over anything, and that also helps with a calm stomach. Best of luck

My doctor warned me about reflux and was pushing me toward bypass but I decided to move ahead with the sleeve.  I've always had reflux wth symptoms coming and going . My triggers seem to be spicey food which I love.

i drink some milk and that helps too..tums or mylanta if it's really bad

it varies what I can eat...maybe 2 oz at the most at one time.  It seems to change from meal to meal.

I eat small meals/snacks throughout the day.

dense protein is still a bit difficult it fills me up way too fast.

Its my my new normal and still adjusting!

wouldnt have it any other way
