Now that the temps are dropping, how are YOU keeping warm??

Outerwear: my Lands End Down Commuter coat has been priceless! I had one at my heaviest and went out and bought another one in my final size (and they aren't cheap coats!)   also have some down filled, combination mittens/gloves. The warmest things for hands by far are some mittens made from "chunky" weight wool yarn (made lovingly by my mommy!)

Angora blend socks (lightweight and not at all bulky but much warmer than cotton), tights under dresses/skirts, silk underwear (www.wintersilks.com), 100% cotton turtlenecks.Layers!

When at home: down filled "bootie" style slippers, down blankets/comforters, electric blanket if needed, heavyweight terry robe, 6 ounce flannel sheets (Lands End or Cuddledown).

When I get "chilled to the bone" and have trouble warming up, I use hot bubble baths, the heat option in my LaZBoy,, and the electric blanket if needed.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
