new to this

Hey! I'm new to this too. I met with the surgeon today and have the rest of the preop appointments made within the next month. I feel like it's going to be a long, hard journey but will be well worth it in the end. 

I hope the surgeon you've chosen does the DS. If not, you seriously owe it to yourself to consult with a DS surgeon, given the amount of weight you want to lose. The DS has the very best long-term, maintained weight-loss stats for patients of any size, but especially so for those of us with a BMI greater than 50.
