I got cold four days after surgery, and 11 years later I'm STILL cold. I don't think it has to do with weight loss, but with physiological changes the surgery causes.

Our bodies are definitely interesting things. I am still cold a lot but I honestly thing I've seen a bit of an improvement. Maybe that's because I keep the heat turned up a few degrees higher than I use to though.

I have read it is a hormonal change. It happens for many of us right after surgery.

It's crazy isn't it! And please don't die, that's just awful! :) :) Have a wonderful weekend! (I grew up in North Dakota and now live in Oregon--I do NOT miss the -40 weather!)

Before surgery, I NEVER wore long sleeves, even in the dead of winter. Now I find myself getting chilled, and we have the whole winter ahead of us. I may be looking for sweatshirts soon!
