Insurance disappointment

You maybe close to Mexico, so travel costs may not be that much. When I was going though the pre-surg, one reason I wanted insurance coverage was in case I had complications from the surgery. At 57, this was a concern and I was happy that my insurance covered the RNY. I have not had dumping syndrome, but I do need to take vitamins. I agree with the poster regarding the two-step approach. DS, having the VSG first....then, maybe "decide" you do not wish to complete the second step to full DS. Is this dishonest??? Well, I've never known insurance companies to ANYTHING that was incorrect. (Yes, snarking tone)
