I'm not feeling the insta pot love. I've always had a pressure cooker so to me it's not that different.

When I was fresh home for the hospital a friend came over who had RnY 10 years before. She brought me over little 2 oz plastic condiment bowls from a restaurant supply store. It was the best gift. I'd eat my yogurt out those and other foods.

I used stovetop pressure cookers for years before buying the Instant Pot. I rarely use the stovetop any more- just my giant size when I need the capacity. The IP is so much more hands off that it is a joy to use. Toss a couple of ingredients, push a button, and walk away. I use it so much it stays permanently on my counter, and I do not have a lot of counter.

I have an instant pot, I do use it, but really need to perfect more recipes. I basically do chicken soup, hard boiled eggs, and pork loin.

Since I have been on a chocolate chai latte kick for awhile, I use my stick blender everyday to blend the cocoa powder in.

I'm in the Blendtec camp. Mostly use it for smoothies, protein  "ice cream", hummus, and mashed cauliflower

Which I've shared before, I have the make your own whipped cream maker, so can make SF.

Funny was just going through cabinets tonight and putting my rice cooker into my backroom storage. I only use it for company now.

NYMom  was the one to introduce me to one- they are freaking amazing. You put a cup of heavy whipping cream in it, a bit of vanilla, and a little sweetner. Load it with a charge, shake 4 times and perfect whip cream. Stupid fast and easy. They can be used for other awesome things too (like making your own soda).

I bought this one, as I didn't want to spend a lot initially in case I didn't end up ever using it. Works awesome.

We make chai in the Instant Pot! Try rice in the Ip too- no need to ever pull out that rice cooker again. Rinse white rice until water runs clear. Add equal parts rice and water to the pot, plus a little oil (butter or coconut or a favorite). Hit the rice button. Perfect every time, but I don't let it switch over and stay on low. It will stay really hot for quite a long time. Brown rice is a different ratio and the automatic button will not work for that. We make a ton of soup, and pasta dishes. My new favorite recipe is short ribs in there- makes it so much faster and they turn out great!
