Love / Hate stage ??
Thank you so much ! Where are you in the process ? Have you had any appointments yet ? It feels slow at the beginning but once those appointments get going , it just flies by . And I am certain , you are gonna do well . Stay on here , keep reading and doing your research and honestly , it will all go great for you . Good luck xx

Thank you, I love this site have learn so much.
I had my orientation at HRRH on March 23 waiting to receive next appointment. My understanding it could take 4 to 6 months. As the nurse stated the journey starts now!! I gave up pop 5 months ago, coffee month ago.. I have been doing everything the nurse said we need to start doing measuring and weighing food, chewing longer, no skipping meals, reading labels, no drinking when eating, food journal, and how to recognize and handle head hunger. I have bought couple books the nurse had mentioned can't wait until they come in.
Referral received at hrrh Nov6/14, orientation March23/15, surgery April 11/16
I went through HRRH (Jaxie and I both did.. plus we had our surgery at the same time and place!!). My timeline is in my profile. I don't think many people are rushed through at 4-6 months anymore, but I could be wrong. It seems to vary but last I checked, HRRH was backed up due to losing a doctor I think?

You are at the caterpillar stage. My hairloss lasted to about the 7 month mark. I did the best I could with it but it wasn't fun. I just stopped looking at my head in the mirror & concentrated on the rock'in bod that was pushing its way through.
You will look super in a shortie cut...show off those expressive eyes.
Congratulations on your success so far and your attitude! I too had it pretty easy. Everyone seems to be different in the hair loss but I lost mine for a full year. Make sure you get your vitamins in and your protein daily. When I went in for my year check, my blood work showed low iron. I started taking iron and voila! Hair stopped falling out.
All the best!
Thank you so much ! And OMG ! A year ?? Jeezo ...honestly ..I don't have that much hair !!!! I am religious with my vitamins and protien . But my Iron was low before surgery , and I've not had my bloods done since , my 3 month follow up is on 13th April , so it will be interesting to see what's going on there , it very well could be that .
Thanks again doll xx
