It's just the other arm actually lol, the first photo was taken outward facing by a nurse, and the second photo is a "selfie" facing picture ? but I did lose most of my lower back tattoo in this process!

I actually would have liked to have lost my lower back tattoo, but sadly it's a bit too high for that to have been possible :P

Haha I wouldn't have been mad to lose all of mine either! I got mine very very young by someone who should never have been allowed to give tattoos. It was a heart with butterfly wings and the word "love" on top. Now only the "love" part remains. In the next couple years, I'm gonna cover that up with something new!

Hey guys! I'm one week and one day post op and wanted to update.

Things are so much better now, the worst is definitely behind me. I have had 3 of my 5 drains removed, and am starting to feel more like myself again. I will get the other 2 removed at two weeks post op.

My biggest complaint right now is the swelling. I can't wait for it to go down so I can see what my new size and look really is.

Overall my body is so unfamiliar to me, I can't believe this is my new life!!!

Just wanted to update for anyone curious:

I am 2 weeks out yesterday, so 15 days post op today. I am now drain free. I am moving around pretty well, but its not as great as I would like (I have a 3 year old, suffice to say its not the easiest, lol). My biggest complaint is swelling. I was about 20 pounds over where I should be with my newly removed skin, now its more like 15. I have had small hurdles like blood clot scares and low grade fevers, but all in all recovery has been easy going.

I'm not going to post any new pics, everything pretty much looks the same because of the swelling. Once things start going down and starts looking for what we go through all of this for, you'll be the first to know!
