Wow. That came from your group? I just heard through backchannel Facebook that the support group I help run was an 'ish' for someone. I didn't know who. Like I said, I take it as a compliment. Did you intend it to be complimentary? Why would you think anyone said you bullied or were loud?

You're not nearly as good a liar as you think you are. Your perfect quote gave a clue that it was shared. Not. A. Word. Out. Of. Place. Oh, and as you well know, it was not MY post so kudos on trying to infer it was.

I hope your friend was happy for you to out her on here. We all know exactly who she is now and that she's not to be trusted. Your group members might want to consider when they post anything personal. I'm amazed she agreed to burn bridges with everyone in the group, when we have been nothing but supportive of her there through very personal struggles that she's shared.

But that's the difference between us, NOONE from our group would EVER share what is posted there, whatever the provocation or betrayal. She has no worries that we will all keep our promise to not share outside. Shame neither you nor she couldn't do the same.

We wouldn't even share if it was really juicy, like Grim's erotic taxidermy collection!

Maybe I'm just too thick skinned, but it seems like what was shared was pretty minor. Just a slightly petty comment. I mean this isn't exactly a leak worthy of Anonymous. You're having a pretty strong reaction about it...

I think it's easy for all of us to forget how fragile we truly are, how easily we can be reminded of that obese person we once were. Our own self loathing can spring out and attack us if we don't keep all the external monsters at bay. That's why both of you are wanting a safe place to go and feel free of judgement. I guess you proved her point, that the public boards can be scary and upsetting.

It's frustrating to see such venom from people I admire. I mean Grim is like the best, and he's basically on here telling someone to take their toys and go home. It's just weird how this brings out such raw hostility. Every one of us wants to help others, help ourselves, do the right thing - yet we keep turning on each other as if our very life is being threatened.

It's not Elizabeth's first time. She quit the group, volutarily, and has done this sort of thing consistently, ever since.

What sort of thing have I done consistently ever since, Grim?

I am shocked at this. I have always respected you and enjoyed your friendship. Well.. I thought we were friends. I'm really flummoxed by this. If you had an issue perhaps...you know...asking me about it would have been cool. You are literally the first or second person I ever responded to on OH and you have been here since day one. I never had any reason to think you had issue with me.

It seems so silly but I'm like "Et tu Brute" over here because I would have put my hand on a stack of bibles that you wouldn't ever say or think anything poorly against me. We have been OH buddies a long time. Wow.

So, what's the benchmark for betraying the trust of your group?

WE have a benchmark. Its zero sharing. Not little sharing, not big sharing.

This may seem little to you, but how do we know she's not screenshot other stuff. Like the EXTREMELY personal post I shared in the group last week? It's ok because Elizabeth chose not to share that here today? She chose not to throw her "friend" under the bus over my post but over this one because it was about her?

If I wanted you all to know my personal story, I'd have put it on here. I didnt. I shared it with people I thought I could trust. Now I don't know who's read it. And this goes for everything that has been shared in that group while she's been a member. You don't think this is serious? Who cares what you think?

If you don't see this word vomit thread as a big old **** stir and an "I know what you're all posting" then no, thick skinned is not the term I'd use for your wilful ignorance.

You all deserve each other in your positive, no advice group. It's not like you talk about other people there, is it? No, you're all well above that in your sanctimonious, judgement free group. (Sigh)

You might want to rein in Duffman before you throw Grim's name out there as showing raw hostility. Pot meet kettle.
