Surgery Day

Today is June 9th 2014. I have been preparing for surgery for 3 months and have lost 40 pound as a result. Now I know that sounds like a lot of weight but when you are starting out over 200 pounds over weight then it is just a drop in a very large buck. I am 30 years old right now and I have high blood pressure and constant back and hip pain. I have made the very difficult decision to go ahead with the surgery to help me get to a health place in my life so that I can be around for a long time for my 2 kids. My surgery is today. Wow that is a very scary thought. It has been such a distance goal that now that it is here it is kind of a shock. I am sitting here waiting for the time to head to the hospital and I am really not sure how I feel about this. I hope I am making the right decision and that everything goes well.
