Someone elses inspiring post

This is from http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/newalicia/. I felt is was inspiring and I should share it:

"I see a lot of you talk about loss and losing. I remember what it's like to get out tOf the 300's or the 200's and just willing that damn scale to move.

I wanted to tell you about the times that you plateau or hold on the scale and nothing happens.

What's going on there is your body readjusting to your new body size, which is constantly changing. Obviously you have created a lot of work for your body to keep up with, losing all this weight all the time. First, give it a break. Your body took a lot of abuse from you before surgery, and it's still working hard for you. Yes, it's supper annoying to not see the progression of the numbers on the scale for a few weeks, but you know what you can do? Check your measurements. A lot of times the recallibration that your body is doing will result in something getting smaller. Like your hips, your waist, your calf, that upper arm, something. Second, this isn't about the scale. Let's face it. You only care now cause its going down, you weren't so hell bent at looking every day when the scale was headed in the opposit direction. Always remember, this is for the rest of your life, a few weeks in hindsight are nothing. You are doing great, keep up the hard wool, and take a deep breath, that scale will be there next week. CU"
