I have had so many wonderful moments in my life that were captured in my memory but never on photo! Why? Because i was always embarrassed to be photographed! Why? Because of my weight! The camera has always been most unforgiving whenever i was in front of it!
So, for about 20 years now, I have very few pictures of myself... always stepping out of the frame whenever the camera was poited at me or a flash when off in my vicinity!!! My wedding 3 years ago... mhhhm, very few pictures of me or my husband and I together. The photographer (my brother) gave up trying to get me in pictures and captured all the guests having a great time at MY WEDDING INSTEAD!
Now, having started on my weight loss journey with my lap band and down 25 lbs, I still shy away from having my picture taken! Why? Because I am not satisfied with my weigh loss 3 months post op! Shouldn't I have lost more weight than that? Yes! Yes, indeed!!!
