Realize band to RNY

I had the realize band put in 10/2008 after 2 years of what I like to call "hell" i had it removed 8/2010.  I started m journey at 265 and in the first 6 months dropped to 211, the lowest I have been since my journey began.  I had 6 adjusmnets, an endoscopy and a few trips to er, with blockage before deciding the band was not for me.  I am scheduled for my RNY on 9/29/10 and I am starting my journey all over again, I am hoping that this time around I will not have any issues, and achieve the weight loss I wanted all along. I feel like I have half the battle down, since I am already used to smaller portions, and all the rules we need to follow.  Im scared and excited all at the same time...
