Anyone with stomach problems?

Jun 30, 2014

Hi, So I had surgery more than 10 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did to be quite honest.  I have had 6 back surgeries and was unable to do anything as a result.  Needless to say I gained a LOT of weight and was up to 400 pounds.  I met a pain doctor that wanted to put a pain pump in my back to help control pain but would not do it until I lost 100 pounds...Needless to say that doctor changed my life because I had the weight loss surgery, lost my 100 pounds and got my pain pump...in that order and I am a changed man!  I am down to 230 and that's where I've been for the last 5 or 6 years.  I was in a wheelchair before all of this and I got rid of that a LONG TIME AGO!  Anyway I LOVE LIFE AGAIN and wouldn't change a thing.

I do have 1 question to put out there to see if anyone has the same issue and that's stomach aches?  I have gotten SEVERE stomach aches from time to time.  I can go months and months without having an attack and then I can have 2 in the same week!  They are SO PAINFUL, I end up going to ER to get treated.  The pain is SO intense I am curled up in a ball on the floor crying like a baby because the pain is so intense.  The pain is in my upper right side of my back and goes down and ends in my stomach.  They have done many many xrays and catscans (can't do MRI because of the pump in my back), but they feel it has something to do with my stomach.  I know you may be thinking it is my pain pump  but that's been ruled out.

I am hoping someone has experienced the same thing?  (Actually I would not wish it upon my worst enemy so I really hope it doesn't happen to anyone else but you know what I mean)!

THank you in advance!!!
