A great reminder

Wow, last night was a wake up call for me. It was my best friends 29th wedding anniversary and me and hubby went out with them to celebrate. They decided they wanted to go for a nice dinner and then dancing. Dinner was great but it was all down hill after that. We found a nice little club that had a good country band playing. My friend and her husband danced all nite. I felt so bad for my husband though. He is  13 years younger and alot more fit, he would have loved to do some dancing too. Sadly with my weight what it is I cannot stand long enough to dance with my wonderful husband. He was so considerate of my feelings though, he sat  across the table from me and held my hand and sang to  me all nite. Now thats love!! I felt so guilty that I was not able to slow dance with him, It  may not  have  bothered  him but it did me. That was when I realized  that  come hell  or high waters I am having this surgery and that nothing  is going to stop me. I promised him that a year from now he can take me out on the dance floor and hold me nice and tight and dance till dawn. I refuse to keep missing out  on life because of my size.
