Update since surgery

 I thought it was time for an update since i had my surgery on may 29th 2012. I have been hospitalized several times since my 2nd week, First off i got a very deep infection in my main surgery port. I had to be seen at a wound clinic for several weeks to get the infection to leave. Then just when i was suppose to start stage 3, mushy foods, I had pain whenever i ate or drank anything. I went to the er, and called my surgeons office many times to complain on how horrible i was feeling. I had pretty much stopped all foods and all liquids. Then my wonderful husband called and threatened to switch to a new  doc if he didnt do something to help me. My surgeon ordered a swallow test which showed nothing, so then he ordered an EGD. It was then he found the opening to my pouch had narrowed so much that even the scope had a hard time getting thru. My surgeon then used a balloon to dialate the opening slightly. I have had that done once and have at least 2 more of these procedures to get my stomach opening large enough so i can eat and drink again. It could be late july or mid august before i get to come off liquids. I have lost 65 pounds and that should make me happy, but I really wish i felt well. I hate food,,any food. I am sick most of the time and have no energy. My prayer is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Would I do this again?
