 well i know its been eons since i have vistited this site. I have been thru hell since my surgery. I have no idea where to begin. since my orginal surgery on may 29 i have had to have several surgeries. I mentioned before that i had to have several dilations to open my stomach opening alittle bit. On another routine on august 1 i almos died. My surgeon blew a hole in my new stomach. Dr Perry  called in a specialist that put a stint over the hole in my stomach in the hopes that it would allow it time to heal without another major surgery. Well after a few days in the hospital i began throwing up uncontrolably so i was rushed to xray to find out what was going on. The specialist informed us that i had digested the stint and that i now needed 2 major surgeryies to fix all the problems. Another specialist was called in to rebuild me a new stomach and then another specialist was called in to find the stint in my intestines, which the had to cut lots of intestine out to find this little stint. I was in the hospital for 8 days and have very little memory of most of it. I remember paih and more pain. I ate or drank nothing for those 8 days. Finally they had to put in a pic line to feed me. I lived off a pic line and pain pump. What a mess. I have lost 100 lbs but it has NOT been worth it. I know i am probably the exception but i try to talk anyone who wants this surgery out of having it. I nolonger look at the scale,,,i dont give a rip what it says,,,, all i care about is that i am alive. I learned a very valuable lesson and it is this "be happy how you are, dont go for the easy way out,,,cause it doesnt exsist" "There are things more inmportant than how much one weights"s I am just happy to see the sun come up and to be able to spend time with my grandkids. I am not sure when i will be back to update but I will try. Remember to love yourself, big or small it doesnt matter!!!! Laugh, love, and live life!!
