Hello everyone!

Your successes make me smile, I have to say that first! I am hoping this can be a place of support for this journey I am about to embark on. I have been over weight for too long and I a need a permanent change. I have prayed about it for a long time, and I know my time is now. I know i have to decide what surgery is best for me, and I do know that I need the kind of surgery that is best in the long haul, Its very easy for me to put weight on and it has to work for the rest of my life. I just received my referral from my primary doctor today and called the Bariatric Clinic and I am attending the seminar on the 19th of August. I am super excited and can't wait to get this going. I guess what i don't understand is how long does the process take to be able to get the surgery done? Has anyone had any experience at Womack Army Medical Center in fayettville, NC?
