Up, Up, Up

Pregnancy is going well.

Watching the numbers creep back up is has been very, very difficult, but the baby is developing wonderfully. Trying to make sure I get enough nutrients in without going bonkers. Now with the restriction out that's been the hard part, not the snacking between meals, but making sure my portions aren't too big, but at the same time aren't too small. Being in school helps with that though. My lunch pail that I take has individual compartments so i can set it up to eat every couple of hours without eating poorly. Still not sure why the numbers are spiking so high. Because of my weigh, my doctor didn't want me gaining more than 15 pounds total during the pregnancy, but then insisted I had restriction removed. So so far I've gained 15 pounds. Maybe I"m eating too much fruit, with the natural sugars?

In any case I see my nutritionist this month. Maybe she can shed light on what I'm doing wrong to help curb some of the weight gain. I mean my numbers are perfect. I don't have preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc. I have a marginal case of placenta previa (second trimester development) with absolutely no spotting, so when I go back next week, they'll probably tell me it's gone and that I'm back to being able to give birth vaginally. Either that or I just don't spot, who knows?
